Shooting Wasps in the “King’s Room”

Recently Hilton wanted to show the size of their ‘King’s Room’ at the London Metropole in Edgeware Road, which it is claimed, is the biggest hotel ballroom in the UK.  They needed something interesting in which to illustrate the sheer size and scale of the room.

The famous hotel chain are a sponsor for London rugby union team Wasps.  So, as a result of the sponsorship links, they managed to recruit Wasps players Richard Haughton and Steve Kefu to be on hand for a three hour shoot in the King’s Room.

The brief was to show that the room was, in fact, so big you could even kick a rugby ball around in it.

Well, it all went as planned and turned out to be a lot of fun for all involved, with some nice dramatic images.  See below for a slideshow.
