I’ve just returned from a week long trip to Sierra Leone in West Africa shooting an annual report for Sierra Rutile, a mining company in the south of the country. I had a fabulous experience out there and will write an in depth post when the images are signed, sealed and delivered to the client. The picture above is of me lifting up a beautiful little girl who lived in a village close by to the mine. We were walking through, on our way to shoot a community project at a school, and she came running out of nowhere and hugged me. It’s moments like this that really tug on the heart strings and make me really smile.
I will put up a post in the next week or two, with a video as well.
