Following on from my project for National Geographic Traveller at the Natural History Museum last April, I was back there again in July for another project. I was commissioned to shoot the photography for the Museum’s Annual Review. I’ve had to wait this long to publish the pictures as the document has only just been released into the public domain
I spent a few days shooting this project with the guys at NHM and was really pleased with the results.
The Annual Review is a very important document for the museum, which is presented to influential people who will have a say in its future, like government ministers and financial donors. There was great importance to highlight the broad range of areas that the museum is involved in aside from the tourist attraction. Something that is not commonly known among many people is that the Natural History Museum is a big pioneer in scientific research.
It isn’t all about the dinosaurs!
Below are design layouts from the Annual Review document.
