I’ve been quite busy over the past month with my personal portrait study of London artists – the past two blog postings have focused on them. The next person to participate for this latest phase of the project is Rennie Pilgrem who is a member of the Artists at Home group in the Chiswick area of London.
Rennie is a terrific artist who made the crossover into art a few years ago after being an established, well known DJ.
His studio is set at the bottom of his garden, surrounded by beautiful greenery and flowers, pretty much the perfect spot for a creative atmosphere. I’m a big fan of Rennie’s work, it resonates with me due to it’s graphical nature. I originated from a love of graphics and often incorporate elements of it into my own photography, so to see some of his work up close and to discuss his love of his art was of great interest.
