DAME ZANDRA RHODES © DANIEL LEWIS I had the pleasure and privilege to photograph the fabulously photogenic British fashion designer Dame Zandra Rhodes in London last week. With her colourful outfit and hair to match I was in my element shooting her portrait. http://www.daniellewisphoto.com
Following on from my project for National Geographic Traveller at the Natural History Museum last April, I was back there again in July for another project. I was commissioned to shoot the photography for the Museum’s Annual Review. Last week I travelled to Lyme Regis, known as the Jurassic Coast due to it’s fame as a fossil hot-spot, to shoot a promotional stunt for Blinkbox’s ‘Game of Thrones’ season three release on the pay-per-view streaming service. As part of the promo they commissioned a giant Dragon skull to be constructed (in direct reference to the series’ plot-lines) and placed it on the beach as if it had washed up on the sand. The images received terrific coverage in UK […]

Designed by Fashion Icon Vivienne Westwood Last week I was at the Virgin Atlantic base in Crawley to shoot the new Virgin Atlantic crew uniforms, designed by legendary British fashion icon Vivienne Westwood. I’m delighted to say that the images have been seeing lots of coverage in world media. The images have so far been featured on many high profile publications’ online sections including Elle, Daily Telegraph and Huffington Post. http://www.daniellewisphoto.com

Finally the Nikon D800 has arrived. It must be said this is the camera I’ve been waiting quite a while for. It’s been talked about amongst the photography rumour site fraternity for many a month now and after several leaked details and photos came into existence I’ve been eagerly awaiting this lovely Japanese gadget, and finally it’s here.
